Extra Innings 4 token-operated baseball and softball batting cages, available to the public on a walk-in basis any time during the facility's hours of operation. The machines allow hitters to select pitching speeds ranging from 40 to 70 miles per hour. 30 foot high ceilings enable players to watch the true flight of the batted ball. Our new coin-operated batting cages allow you to choose between baseball or softball pitches with a variety of different speeds and heights.
Extra Innings five multi-use baseball or softball tunnels can be rented by the half hour or full hour. Each batting tunnel is 70 feet long, 15 feet wide, and 30 feet high, which allows for greater mobility and ball travel than standard batting tunnels do. Each tunnel is equipped with an adjustable pitching machine, L-Screen, and portable pitching mound making it suitable for individual or team hitting instruction or practice. This area is equipped with sliding nets, which allow the tunnel area to be converted into a large open field area for clinics team and fielding instruction. There are also two full outdoor clay pitching mounds available for use.
The weight room at Extra Innings-Margate is an area designed for the improvement of speed, strength, and agility. It provides all the important ingredients to create a successful well-rounded athlete. To help our members maximize their athletic potential, Extra Innings combines a modern, comprehensive facility with the latest techniques in strength training. This state-of-the-art facility is comprised of machines specifically chosen to assist young athletes in furthering their career with sport specific exercises.
Relax and Kick back while your kids Train The clubhouse at Extra Innings-Margate was designed to allow parents to sit back and relax while the kids are out working to improve their skills. Major Leaguers have a clubhouse to kick back and relax in before and after games and Extra Innings-Margate now offers you that same opportunity.
